older site issues

[Checksum]

So something went wrong when I was updating the database for the forum. Currently members can only reply to already open threads and cannot make new threads. I am going to work to correct this issue but I am leaving tomorrow to go out of town until Saturday. Little to no work will likely get done on the site in that time. Please just bear with it until I can get it back online functioning at 100%.

yeah it really sucks when you have something that looks really cool on one webserver then you upload it to the live server and it looks shitty. All the dynamic-html isn't working. the rollovers arn't rolling and a lot of the php is fubar.

I may just switch hosts from godaddy to something else that is more website friendly. I contacted them about why my stuff wasn't working and they said I had to upgrade my hosting account type which would cost another $370 a year. Considering we barely touch 10% of the daily bandwidth there is no real reason to upgrade. The guy said my only other real option is to use java to code all the dynamic stuff.... which is a pain... because I don't really know any java. Anyone want to buy me this book for christmas so I can learn?

I used godaddy too. what program are you using to create the page? I used dreamweaver7 I think. still have it if you would like a copy. It works really good and easy. Most things came out as it appears on layout.
